Trade Plate Driver

Role Summary

We specialise in moving vehicles between dealership locations or direct to customers across the UK. We are looking for self-employed drivers to deliver to a good standard nationwide. In return, we will pay travel expenses between jobs and provide a welcome bonus.

The role will involve safely and efficiently driving vehicles to a pre-planned destination, a small amount of public transport, which is paid for using your company credit card, before collecting a vehicle to take home overnight.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver, collect and transfer vehicles between dealerships, auction sites and prep centers.
• Complete planned daily jobs with expected deliveries by 08:30 daily.
• Drive customer and fleet vehicles safely and efficiently across nationwide UK routes.
• Utilize public transport (paid using your company credit card) between vehicle transfers.
• Collect vehicles to take home overnight for next-day dispatch.
• Deal directly with our customers and dealerships in a professional and courteous manner.
• Plan workload effectively and communicate accurately and promptly.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid full driving licence held for a minimum of 5 years (7 years preferred) due to commercial insurance requirements
• Licence must be registered at your current address
• Off-road parking required for vehicle security
• Trade plating experience is preferred but not essential
• Self-Employed status
• Induction to be held in Stoke-on-Trent
• Can work using own initiative and work well under pressure
• Good attention to detail & time management
